In memory of Omaha Police Department officer Kerrie Orozco.

THE HERO

Kerrie Orozco, 29, was killed in the line of duty on May 20, 2015. A seven-year veteran of the Omaha Police Department, Orozco was killed just hours before she was set to start maternity leave. Her daughter Olivia Ruth was born prematurely on Feb. 17, 2015, and Orozco had put off maternity leave until she could bring her daughter home from the hospital.

Orozco is survived by her husband, Hector Orozco, two stepchildren, Natalie and Santiago, and baby Olivia.

WORKOUT NOTES & MODIFICATIONS

This workout can be modified according to your PATHFINDER program.

Wearing your ruck, the workout is as follows:

  • Life : 4 rounds for time
  • Forward: 5 rounds for time
  • Endure: 6-8 rounds for time
  • Advanced or above: 10 rounds for time

This workout is best completed on a track, considering 100 meters is a fairly short distance (328 feet).

For Life and Forward rosters:

  • Burpees may be performed with or without push-up
  • Push-ups may be performed on knees
  • Workout does not need to be completed while wearing ruck.

For Endure and Advanced rosters and above:

  • Burpees should be performed with push-up
  • Care should be taken while performing burpees while wearing a ruck. Make sure your waist belt is tightened and you move with full body control.
  • Workout should be completed while wearing ruck. Sit-ups may be completed by either holding your ruck overhead or by wearing it on the front.

The Workout

  • 100-meter ruck
  • 5 x burpees
  • 20 x sit-ups
  • 15 x push-ups
  • 100-meter ruck
  • Rest 2 minutes between rounds

  • Time cap: 45min max
