Int/Adv Workout: Memorial Day 2020

Today being Memorial Day, the Murph is generally the gold standard workout. However, this year's a little different. You might not be fully up to par for the full Murph without having had a gym to work on pull-ups this year and Murph is notoriously difficult even with proper preparation.

But that being said, the WOD we have written for you today is no easy workout. This should leave you on the floor, Murph fashion, if done at full, blistering pace. Remember our military families, the men and women we lost and whom will never forget. Thinking of family members or friends who have served and honoring them and their story can be a meaningful way to complete a difficult workout humbly and with your full heart.

*Burpees: It is up to you to determine whether you wear a ruck for burpees. If you are bowing your back, your hips are dipping, your head is being hit by the plate or your body generally feels unstable or out of control, do not wear a ruck. If your core is strong, you can maintain body control and you have a quality waist-belt to minimize potential head injury, try burpees with a ruck.

  • 20 Min AMRAP
  • 5 Ruck Thrusters
  • 10 Ruck Push-Ups
  • 15 Ruck Squats
  • 20 Burpees
