There's an entire zoo of animal exercises out there, and we're going to explore a lot of them with this TrailBlazer kids and family workout of the week.
Today, you'll need:
- A comfortable indoor or outdoor space
WARM UP:
- :20 Snail Curl (Child's pose)
- 10 x Cat & Cow Postures (on hands and knees, arch back up like a cat, slowly dip back and belly down for cow)
- 10 x Elephant Walks (bent over, arms in front of your body and swinging side to side for 10 steps)
- 10 x Inchworms
THE PLAY x 1 - 2 Sets:
- 10 x Crab Walks
- 10 x Frog Hops
- 10 x Bear Crawls
- 10 x Star(fish) Jumps
- 10 x Duck Walks
- 10 x Donkey Kicks
- 10 x Cobra Push-ups (close grip push-ups - can also be done on a wall if coordination is an issue)
- 10 x Gorilla Shuffles (sumo squat stance, hands on the floor and shuffling for 10 steps)
- 10 x Flying Squirrels (Superman's with arms out front or to the sides)
