Endurance Event Challenge | Everything You Need to Know

Challenge Purpose

The purpose of the Endurance Event Challenge is to recognize Rosters' efforts and achievements for events they are participating in during the course of a Class. You should not interpret participating in endurance events as part of your training program. Events like these are what you're training for, but quite often your event calendar happens to overlay with your PATHFINDER Class and we want you to be able to get credit for your achievement just the same.

What classifies an Endurance Event?

Common endurance event styles include team-based ruck endurance events, individual or team obstacle course endurance events, high-mileage endurance events.

Event operators who regularly host endurance events include Green Beret Fitness, GORUCK, and certain Spartan Race Series (Super - Forward only. The Beast, Ultra, Agoge, Highlander).

Common Questions

I'm doing the {insert event name here}, will it count for the Endurance Challenge?

If your event duration and/or distance doesn't fall in the ranges listed above for your program, it's likely that it's not going to count. Contact your Course Advisor with the specifics of the event if you're still unsure.

What my Course Advisor says {insert event name here} doesn't count, but I disagree with them?

It's always best to follow the guidance of your Course Advisor. They have the wisdom and experience to make these judgement calls in the best interests of you getting the most our of your PATHFINDER training. If you disagree and take a Challenge credit for it, that's your call. We do not audit any logs.

If {insert event name here} doesn't count for the Challenge, can I get any other credit for it?

Typically you can take one (1) workout credit plus any miles that you rucked during the event. This applies to the GORUCK Cloverleaf Events.

I'm doing more than one qualifying event during the Class. Can I get multiple Challenges credits for them?

No, you can only get credit for the Endurance Event Challenge one time. If you have more than one scheduled during the Class, see the question above for how to get workout and miles credit.

        • Does a GORUCK Stars 26.2 qualify as an event under “Forward”?
