Challenge Purpose

The purpose of this Challenge is to support the impactful work of the Charity Challenges organization, which donates year round to a variety of vetted, meaningful causes. By participating in one of their challenges during your PATHFINDER Class, you’re giving back and training with a purpose.

How to Complete This Challenge

To earn credit for the PATHFINDER Charity Challenge:

  • Register for a Charity Challenges Live Challenge or Perpetual Challenge
    • Entry-level registration or higher is required

      Complete the following:

      • For Live Challenges: Achieve at least the base-level goal as defined by Charity Challenges

      • For Perpetual Challenges: Complete as many reps or activities as you choose during your PATHFINDER Class cycle

Where do I sign up?
Register for a Live or a Perpetual event here.

I’m already signed up. Can I count it?
Only if you registered for this PATHFINDER Class cycle. Previous sign-ups won’t count.

Do the 1,000 Mile Challenge or other Charity Challenges count?
Only official Live or Perpetual Challenges qualify for this PATHFINDER Challenge.

Do I need to wear a ruck while doing the exercises?
Nope! Follow the directions as provided by Charity Challenges. Ruck use is not required.

Can I start early?
You may begin before your PATHFINDER Class start date, but most of the work should happen during your Class cycle. We won’t audit the start date.

Can I finish after ENDEX?
You can, but it won’t count toward PATHFINDER Challenge credit. Your Charity Challenge must be completed by the end of your Class.

How do I log my work?
Once completed, select “Charity Challenge” from the Challenges dropdown in your PATHFINDER log and submit it as complete. You’re welcome to log progress along the way in your log as well as the Charity Challenges platform.

Can I count this work as PATHFINDER workouts?
No. Charity Challenge activity does not count toward PATHFINDER workouts.

Challenge Safety & Restrictions

  • Always carry a basic first aid kit.
  • Ruck safely. Share your route and estimated return time with someone who can assist in an emergency.
  • Obey all laws. Do not trespass. If unsure about access to any facility, consult management for permission.
  • You assume all risks. PATHFINDER is not liable for any injury, damage, or death resulting from participation in its programming.
